Dear Member,

You are invited to participate in our Annual Members Art and Textile Exhibition which will be held at the centre over the long weekend in October. We hold the exhibition to give our members a platform to showcase their works and to give exposure to what we do here at the Art Centre.

The Exhibition will be open to the public on Friday 4th   of October 12noon to 4 pm, Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th and Monday 7th October between 10 am and 4 pm. An entry donation would be appreciated.

The Official opening will be held on Saturday 5th October from 1 pm to 3 pm. You, your family and friends are warmly invited. A donation is appreciated to cover the cost of drinks and nibbles.

Exhibition Entry Conditions:

• REGISTRATION FORM IS AVAILABLE BELOW THIS SECTION.

• Each member may enter up to 3 pieces of work.

• An entry fee of $5 per member (cash only) is payable when you deliver your entries. NOT PAYABLE ONLINE.

• Please ensure all framed pieces are ready to hang. (See sample in the kitchen).

• Attached is your Entry Form. Please complete and return to your Tutor or place in the entry box in the Kitchen by Friday 13th of September.

• Works may be priced to sell. A commission of 15% is payable to SCAC on all sales.

• The SCAC reserves permission to publish images of the exhibition and members’ work on the SCAC website and on our social media pages, unless otherwise advised.

 

Delivery Of Your Work:

• Please deliver your exhibits to the Art Centre on EITHER Tuesday 1st of October between 6.30 pm to 8 pm OR Wednesday 2nd October between 2 pm to 4 pm.

• Each exhibit must have a completed label attached on the back.

 

Picking Up Your Work:

All unsold work must be collected on Monday 2nd October between 4 pm and 5 pm.

 

IMPORTANT DATES: -  20th September: Closing of Entry forms to SCAC.

                                          1st October: SCAC opened between 6.30 pm to 8 pm to deliver your work.

                                          2nd October: SCAC opened between 2 pm to 4 pm to deliver your work.

                                           5th October: Official opening from 1 pm.

                                           7th October: Pick up work from SCAC between 4 pm and 5 pm.

 

Please Note that S.C.A.C. does not carry insurance against damage or loss for your exhibits. Exhibitors are encouraged to organize their own insurance if they are concerned about leaving items at the Centre for the duration of the exhibition.
