Grant Eyre

Grant Eyre is a visual artist with a working career as a civil draftsman followed by a retirement learning to paint and draw. His journey in Art has lead to four First Prizes in Drawing, several Highly Commended awards , with works in private collections. Grant has exhibited in group and individual exhibitions. He is a keen plein air painter and sketcher, and is a member of the Blue Mountains Urban Sketch Group. He is experienced working with watercolour, pastel, acrylic, oils and mixed media. He studied with a number of Professional Art Tutors, including Terry Jarvis, Owen Thompson. Jody Graham and Joseph Zbukvick. Grant coordinates the Saturday Sketch Club at Springwood Community Arts Centre. He is an accredited small group trainer and a member of the Community Arts Centre management committee. He lives in Springwood .
