Completed Fashion Certificate / Teacher training in 1979

Full-time teacher at Liverpool TAFE 1980 – 1982

Full-time teacher at Penrith TAFE 1983 to April 1996

After TAFE I have taught in many area  Dressmaking beginners to advanced  Stretch wear  Children’s wear  Pattern making  Furnishing decor  Fabric printing  Needlecraft certificate (all major forms of embroidery and design)

Since leaving TAFE I have taught dressmaking, embroidery and patchwork for many private providers. I began teaching at Springwood Community Art Centre in January 2010 - Sewing & embroidery classes. I have taught a wide range of embroidery techniques such as crossstitch, Wardanger embroidery, basic embroidery, ribbon embroidery, smocking, canvas work, appliqué, machine embroidery and many more. I love combining fabric and thread together to create many wonderful contemporary and traditional works
