Join Margaret for an exciting workshop where she will share her love of the Australian bush especially the gum trees. Learn how to apply watercolour techniques especially to trees. You will learn a few basics and expand your understanding of colour, watercolour and brush control.


Material List.


2b pencil and kneadable rubber.


2x A4 or A3 larger sheets of rag watercolour paper. Archers Rough 300G. Do not skimp on paper quality


Backing board and masking tape, tissues, rag.


Watercolour paint, Ultramarine Blue and Burnt sienna, ochre, lemon yellow, Permanent Alizarin

Crimson or Permanent rose, or similar, Windsor and Newton Cadmium Orange very useful.


Watercolour pallet and brushes (whatever you have) at least a round brush with a point and a wash brush, eg Neef.


Watercolour brush #8 and 12and a rigger.
